• Denstone Music Society

    We are delighted to announce the 58th season of the Denstone Music Society (formerly Abbotsholme Arts Society) and look forward to extending our traditional warm welcome to our patrons, members and guests.

    Our 2026-2027 season opens on Monday, 12 October with the Lumas Winds, an exciting young, multi-award winning quintet. It continues in November with the world renowned pianist, Danny Driver.

    Tickets will become available on 1st August. Membership will give you admission to all the concerts in the season at a preferential rate. You can become a member at any time. A membership subscription helps the Society to continue to support musicians and entitles you to a say in the running of the Society.

    Our young audience members enjoy a 50% discount on all tickets and membership subscription.

    Please note we are a cashless society. Payments will be taken by card and smartphone only.

      Lumas Winds are committed ambassadors for wind chamber music and the rich variety of repertoire it offers. Regularly featuring at festivals and music clubs up and down the UK, they have firmly established themselves at the forefront of the new generation of wind ensembles and have been described as an ‘effervescent wind quintet, lively in their performance style and enterprising in their choice of repertoire’ (Seen and Heard International). DMS is excited to welcome them to open our 2026-2027 season.
